Simonetta Carr was born in Italy and has lived and worked in different cultures. She worked first as elementary school teacher and then as home-schooling mother, translating and writing freelance articles on the side. She is the author of numerous books, including Questions Women Asked, Broken Pieces and the God Who Mends Them, Church History, and the series Christian Biographies for Young Readers.
